"One of the hardest things to predict in collegiate recruiting is how effectively a talented player will organize her life to improve. It is a strange alchemy of love of the ball, love of the game, drive, self discipline but also an understanding of what to do, how often you do it and how deliberately and intensely. Yael Averbuch was the poster child for this “self coaching” while she played for me. Her freshman year she fought her way into the starting line up and by her sophomore year she was the National Player of the Year and a national champion. She achieved this with what she designed and did on her own. This commitment to improve is at the core of any kind of athletic greatness and Yael is the ideal person to share how it’s done."
"I have been involved with the United States Women’s National Team program for a long time and there are players that have come through the youth teams over the years that have made a lasting impression on me for one reason or another. Yael Averbuch is one of those players. The two things that I will always remember about Yael is her love for the game and her motivation to improve. And the second is her technical ability. She worked hard at her game and one of the main reasons she was able to reach her goals internationally and professionally was because of her ability to handle the ball under pressure. I cannot think of a better person to introduce an application on developing technical skills in the game of soccer than Yael Averbuch."
- STEVE SWANSON
"I can not think of a better person to teach players technical aspect of the game. There are so many different reasons that makes Yael special and suited for something like that. First and foremost she is a great person, cares, and has respect for people and for the game. Yael has tremendous love and passion for the game that has guided her through her career and helped her become a very good player. The ability to perfectly demonstrate the techniques is just going to make everything she does more personal. Yael has already proven that she can reach lots of young players that are willing to accept her advice and follow her footsteps."
- Vlatko Andonovski
"Yael is one of the most technical soccer players in the world. She has a unique expertise, and is eager to share it with the next generation of players. She is an intelligent, diligent person and a highly motivated athlete, and there is no doubt in my mind that this will be a successful endeavor."
For a couple years now I have been training on my own (outside of my team practices), but I would always do the same thing. It would take tons of research to find new ways to get touches on the ball. A couple of months ago my mom and I discovered Techne. It has really improved my game! As a center mid, it has made my speed of play much faster! I'm excited to keep training with Techne especially since I will be continuing to play in college! Thank you for creating such an amazing program!

I grew up playing soccer and was fortunate enough to use my height and speed as an advantage. Using the the Techne app has really showed me where I lack in fundamentals, which has made me work harder to improve. It's great to actually see improvement with time, and has lead to a major confidence boost that has improved my game tremendously. I just recently found this sick spot behind a grocery store to do the wall work.

We joined Techne as a team at the beginning of June so our players would have a focused, competitive technical training program for the summer. I have know Yael for years and knew anything she was behind would be incredible but what I didn't realize is how quickly it can transform players who really commit to it. They are more confident on the ball and are making their decisions so much faster because of their improved touch. Thank you so much to Yael and her team for a BRILLIANT technical training app. I would highly recommend that teams use this app because it has a built in competitive element which gets the players training even more often because they know exactly where they stack up amongst their teammates!

What I love about Techne is that I can train on my own, without having to interrupt my family’s day and they usually don’t have time to assist with my soccer anyway. This way I can take the time out of my day, work hard, and see results! It’s so great to improve with new exercises and drills every week! It’s cheaper than a private trainer, which my family doesn’t have time for, but I can train just as hard. Thank you so so so much for making this app available! It’s changed my soccer training experience!

I’m a 38 years old engineer. I used to enjoy playing soccer recreationally in the past but was not able to do it anymore due to my busy working schedule and family responsibilities. I really missed playing the games and had been searching for a while on ways to get back to it without any success until I came across the Techne app. I never thought soccer can be learned through an app, but I decided to give it a try anyway. Surprisingly, after a couple of practices, I kept thinking about making time to practice more. With just a soccer ball, a phone and a small space, I got a really good workout and had so much fun with the ball. The practice itself is not only a great workout, but also technically challenged for a recreational soccer player at my level. Finally I can get to do what I love, be active, and flexible with my busy schedule. I feel fortunate to learn from a professional soccer player who is playing at the highest level and also is a talented entrepreneur with a great passion to do what she loves. The app itself is extremely easy to use with intuitive instruction and tracking feature. There is so much potential to grow the app that will benefit soccer players of all levels, and I’m excited to be a part of it. I highly recommend anyone with a busy life to try out the app. What you get is an active lifestyle by playing the game you love.

Techne Futbol is my club’s vehicle of choice to deliver individual technical training to our athletes. Individual training is the “secret sauce” in player development. To progress to the elite level, athletes must dedicate more than the very limited time they get to see their coaches. While going out in the back yard and kicking a soccer ball around is well and good, the organized and structured approach that Techne delivers is far better. For practice does NOT make perfect, it makes PERMANENT. I am already seeing marked improvement with the players using Techne Futbol and the support from the staff has been outstanding.
